Welcome back, you can find my weekly waiver adds for this week in my Monday post. Inevitably some names get left off the list, particularly for deep leaguers. Today, I’ve focused on low-ownership players and tried to find names for those of you in 16 team leagues or higher. Khris Davis (7%), JB Shuck (4%), and Avisail Garcia (4%) remain good upside plays. Here’s what else you need to know in Fantasy Baseball today. All ownership percentages are from Yahoo!

Robbie Grossman (14%): Ranked 45th overall in the last month going 30-88 (.341) 14 R, 5 2b, 3 HR, 13 RBI, 4 SB. That’s a Mike Trout stat-line. I think I just talked myself into him for shallow leaguers. It’s OK that he plays for the Astros.

Scooter Gennett (12%): A cactus would have made for a better 2nd baseman than Rickie Weeks. Now starting, Gennett has returned to the big leagues on fire, going: 16-35 (.457) 7 R, 3 HR, 7 RBI. Good for 57th overall in the last month.

Juan Lagares (8%): The Mets think they’ve found their starting center-fielder for next year and will let Lagares start the rest of the way. His average has cooled off a bit (.259 in the last month) but he hit 3 HR and stole 5 bases. As he gets more comfortable, September could be a good month for him. Cut to Mets fans clapping.

Donnie Murphy (7%): He’s 30 years old, was called up 48 at-bats ago, and has a .333 average with 7 HRs. My calculator tells me thats a HR every 6.8571428 at-bats. Maybe I should go try out for the Cubs.

Matt Joyce (15%): Joyce, as you know, is very streaky. His stats the last two weeks, along with regular playing time in Left Field, have brought him back to life. 2 HRs is about all you’ll get in a two-week period but he’s capable of sustaining the .353 average for many weeks.

Rajai Davis (27%): With Colby Rasmus on the DL, Davis doesn’t have to worry about playing time. Reports say the Blue Jays want him back on the team next year which could lead to more starts, even when Rasmus returns. His bat has gone cold but he still managed 13 SBs in the last month, very useful.

Ronald Belisario (3%): One player whose taken advantage of the Dodgers’ hot streak is Belisario who has 8 holds in the last month. Holds are even more volatile than Saves and its advised to go with the hot hand in most cases.

Chia-Jen Lo (8%) and Josh Fields (2%): are both closing in Houston. If you had to own one of them then I’d go with Lo and give you my deepest condolences.

Chris Stewart (0%) and Austin Romine (0%): Stewart doesn’t have much of a bat (.206 in the last month) but he’s been the Yankees’ primary catcher. Romine doesn’t have a great track record but he’s still young, and supposedly has made great strides with hitting coach Kevin Long which might be why he’s 13 for his last 32 (.406). I think the Yankees would like to see what Romine can do and may start easing him into the starting job, as long as he keeps hitting.

Say Goodbye To:

Rex Brothers (20%): Rafael Betancourt returned from the DL an earned his first save last night. It was nice while it lasted.
